Engaged in very heavy bombardment operations from Jan to Aug 1945. Moved to the Philippine Islands and assigned to Far East Air Forces in Mar 1946. Inactivated in the Philippines on 15 Jun 1948.

Redesignated 313th Air Division. Activated on Okinawa on 1 Mar 1955. Assigned to Far East Air Forces.
